Volunteer of the Year - 2007

Slinger's David Gutbrod honored with Volunteer of the Year award.

Mr. David Gutbrod was recognized for his efforts in spearheading the Lighting the Soccer Field project at Slinger High School. The project was expanded to include a concession and storage building between the soccer and football fields, a new scorer/press box on the soccer field, new entrance arch gates at both the soccer and football fields, fence extensions and access road improvements.  The total value of the improvements was around $130,000.  There was significant community involvement in this effort.
